An Alabama man was injured when his motorcycle crashed at Five Forks
Thursday evening. Emergency services responded to the accident at 5:20
p.m. in front of the former Five Forks General Store.
Deputy Sheriff Carl Ballengee said the man was taken to Minnie Hamilton
Health Care by Calhoun EMS for treatment. The Grantsville VFD dispatched a
rescue truck and a pumper to the scene.

Miranda Richards was injured at 1 p.m. Thursday when the truck she was
driving left Route 16 at Big Springs, went over a hill, struck a tree and then
landed on its wheels. Richards was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care
Center for treatment by Calhoun EMS. The extent of her injuries were
unknown.
The truck reportedly belonged to Raymond Richards of Big Bend.
Sheriff Allen Parsons investigated the accident. The Grantsville VFD also
responded. |
