The Shining Star award goes to all of the people who were at the
Relay for Life walk last week, showing their support and raising money to help find a
cure for cancer.
Special stars to those folks who organize and keep the Relay going.
The total raised for Relay for Life was $27,877.15. The American Cancer Society had set a goal of $18,985 for Calhoun County and local relay folks raised almost $9,000.00 more than that goal.
