Victory Baptist Church will be celebrating July 4th Holiday with Patriotic Sunday, a salute to the American Armed Forces on Sunday, July 3rd.
The Victory Baptist Church Choir will perform "Spirit of America", a treasury of Patriotic songs and hymns with inspiring visuals. Veterans of the Armed forces will be honored and a special Power Point Presentation of Military Photos will be viewed prior to the service.
Calhoun's own Col. Larry Godfrey will be a special guest speaker, and Pastor Mike Worf will deliver the message. Following the morning service there will be a cook-out and fellowship on the church grounds.
Services for the day will begin with Sunday School at 10 a.m., Patriotic Sunday Service and Worship at 11 a.m. with dinner following. There will be no Sunday evening service.
Pastor Mike Worf invites the community to come and be a part of the celebration honoring those who serve our country.
