"Other than J. D. Morris going to jail or election nights, nothing has created such a stir as the snake picture," says the Clay Communicator. The 8-foot long snake ("sometimes" weighing 80 pounds) was supposedly taken at Jola in Mercer County, but the snake has grown in size since it originally surfaced, with the location changing. It has since been killed in Clay County. It is likely a doctored photo.
