| Flora Evelyn Godfrey, 73, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away June 16, 2005 at home.
Born in Roane County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Avis Nicholas Starkey. She was a former cook at Pleasant Hill Elementary School and was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Grantsville.
Surviving are her husband, Donald H. Godfrey and 2 sons, Colonel Doctor Larry Godfrey of Carlisle, Pennsylvania and Sgt. First Class Rod Godfrey of Dover, Delaware; a brother, Raymond Starkey of Grantsville; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Joe Lancaster will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of services.
