| Arnoldsburg Elementary Title I teachers, Linda Edwards and Tammey Webb, traveled to San Antonio, Texas, in May as presenters for the International Reading Association Convention. The event was attended by approximately 25,000 administrators and teachers from around the world.
"Establishing an Effective Parent Involvement Program" was the topic of Edwards and Webb's workshop. Their workshop was well attended and well received.
It was quite an honor for Edwards and Webb to be selected, first by the West Virginia State Department of Education and then by the International Reading Association, to represent West Virginia.
It was a momentous learning experience and something they will never forget.
