| A funeral service for Carol Richey, 62, of
Hawkinsville, Georgia was held on Friday June 10
at Salem Baptist Church in Ben Hill County,
Georgia.
Mrs. Richey,a homemaker, passed away on
June 7, 2005 at Hawkinsville Hospital.
She was
born August 15, 1942 to the late Robert Welch and
Rhoda (Jones) in Calhoun County, West Virginia.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45
years Thomas J. Richey, whom she married on
April 23, 1960; her loving sons, Joseph (Debra)
Richey, Greg (Shannon) Richey, and Chris (Susan)
Richey; 7 grandchildren; brother, Don Welch
of Macon, GA; step-brothers, Russell (Vickie)
Jones of Big Springs, WV, and Richard (Sharon)
Welch of Newark, Ohio; step-sisters, Shirley
(Douglas) Taylor, Betty (Eddie) Jenkins of Big
Bend , WV, Wanda (Keith) Dye of Midland, NC, and
Sara Welch of Newark, Ohio; step-mother Lois
Welch also of Newark; sister-in-law Fumiko Welch, of Granstville, WV; several nieces, nephews
and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father Harley Jones; brother, William F. Welch and step-brother, Darl Jones.
