Pastor Mary Zimmer presents scholarship to Jason Poling
Calhoun County United Methodist Cooperative Parish awarded High School
Senior, Jason Poling, a $500 scholarship. Jason is the son of Janet and Keith Poling.
This is the fifth year the Parish
has awarded the scholarship based on church and community involvement and
expression of the applicant's faith.
Pastor Mary Zimmer, Coordinator for the Parish stated that these
scholarships are made possible through gifts from individuals and
United Methodist Churches within Calhoun County.
The scholarships recognize and support our youth and their openness in
being servants of Christ, which continues to be an important and exciting
ministry for the Parish.
