| Jeffery Ray Riggs, 34, of Sanford, North Carolina, died Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Central Carolina Hospital, as a result of an automobile accident.
He was a native of Calhoun County, West Virginia.
A funeral was held Wednesday at Solid Rock United
Methodist Church. A second service will be held on Friday, June 3rd at New Testament Baptist Church, Big Springs, West Virginia. Visitation will be from from noon to 2 p.m., time of the service. Burial will follow at the Newell Family Cemetery at Big Root.
He is survived by his parents, Michael Ray Riggs and Dora "Kay" Newell Riggs of Big Springs; wife, Sheryl Phillips Riggs of the home; son, Bradley Keith Riggs of the home; daughters, Brittany Kay Riggs and Joyce Nicole Riggs, both of the home; brother, Michael "Curt" Clayton Riggs of Big Springs; sister, Samantha Lynn McWilliams of Parkersburg; grandmother, Dora Newell of Big Bend; five nieces, and a nephew.
