| The Calhoun Fellowship of Christian Athletes held a Huddle at the home
of member, Hannah Conley.
The fifteen members in attendance were: Jake
Perkins, Matt Harris, Tristan Harris, Justin Price, Steven Cunningham,
Josh Funk, Tommy Gerwig, Jess Heiney, Hannah Conley, Tyler Schartiger,
Courtney McKown, Justin Ramsey, Chad Conley, Seth Jarvis, and Jeff
Goodrich. Also in attendance were hosts, Ken and Sherlene Conley,
Huddle Coach Bob Bailey and wife, Neva, and special guest speaker, Roger
Carter.
Pre-game activities included some hoops and a golf ball
pasture-launching exhibition. In the spirit of the golf adage "Hit a
House", Jake Perkins did just that.
Food provided my Huddle Mom, Sherlene Conley, was splendid and speaker
Carter's message was received loud and clear.
The "Turtle" made an encore return-this time featuring the riding skills
of Jeff Goodrich.
Coach Bailey provided the work-out which was based on the parable of the
talents (Matthew 25:14-30).
During the past 30 days, five Huddle members and one member-to-be
have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
