Bus drivers discover vandalism early Tuesday
Tire slashed on bus, along with other damage
Vandals struck several parked school buses over the long weekend next to the county's bus garage, located behind Calhoun Middle-High School.
Bus driver's discovered the damage early yesterday when school resumed after the Memorial Day weekend.
Transportation Director Donnie Pitts said he was working on an estimate of the damage.
Vandals struck at least four buses, slashing a tire, destroying a mirror, damaging fire extinguishers and destroying a radio.
Fire extinguisher powder was released inside the buses,
there was some scratching of body paint
Sheriff Carl Ballengee is investigating the incident
