She was a native of West Virginia and was born in Calhoun County, having lived the past 13 years in Spencer with friends and family. She was the daughter of Lovey and John E. Sharp. June was a loving mother and faithful Christian, She was married to Claude J, Jarvis who passed away in 1998. She was the mother of five boys, two of which have passed on before her. They are Stephen C. and Roger L. Jarvis.
She is survived by three sons, Ricky Gene Jarvis and Kevin Lee Jarvis of Spencer, and David Paul Jarvis of Savannah, Georgia.
Our mother loved her children and all her family and tried very hard to be the best Christian woman she could. She worked hard all her life to raise her children and teach them right from wrong. She fought so very hard to live and be with her family and friends and through it all never complained but the Lord finally called her home.
We will miss you Mom, so very much. Not a day will go by that we will not think of you and how much we love you and wish you could be with us. One day we will all be together again. You are home now, safe, warm and with Dad and our brothers. We love you.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 30 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Dewey Tanner will officiate. Interment will be in the Coen Cemetery at Nebo.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
