TONIGHT IS RELAY FOR LIFE - Hope Filled Event At CM-HS

(06/24/2005)
Tonight is Relay for Life at Calhoun Middle-High School.

Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs for the American Cancer Society.

Relay represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.

Survivors will be honored as they take the first lap to begin this year's Relay.

Relay offers something for everyone, from the newly diagnosed, to caregivers and friends, to long-term survivors.

During the event, teams of people gather at Calhoun Middle-High School to take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.
