| Relay for Life teams are reminded that Bank Night will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 14 at Calhoun Middle-High School. All monies collected by teams so far should be turned in to determine how close Calhoun County Relay for Life is to goal.

The Bosom Buddies Relay for Life Team will be having their annual Basket Bingo on June 11 at the Calhoun Middle-High School Commons area at 6 p.m. All the baskets are donated in memory of or in honor of people who have had cancer.
We will be having at least 28 games of bingo, 2 raffle drawings, early bird drawing, 2nd chance drawing, 5 door prizes, silent auctions, food and drinks will be available. The Grantsville Lions Club will be calling the numbers.

Singing Competion June 18
"Calhoun Idol" a singing competition is coming to the CMHS auditorium Saturday, June 18 beginning at 6 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Calhoun Banks Relay for Life Team and promises to be an evening of fun for all ages.
Each performer will sing a song in round one, the the audience will vote for their favorites. The top three vote getters will sing again and the audience will vote for the winner.
Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children under age 12.
All gate admissions will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Refreshments will be available.
The following singers will be competing to win the first annual title of "Calhoun Idol"
Sherry Wade, Erica Wriston, Leslie Garrett, Kara Haymaker,
Caitlin Weaver, Heather Weaver, Shannon Jones and Autumn Blair.

The Bosom Buddies Relay for Life Team is selling chances on a Cracker Barrel rocking chair.
The tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and are available from any team member or at any county school.
All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
~~ LUMINARIES IN MEMORY OF CANCER VICTIMS ~~
Relay for Life's opening ceremonies on June 24 will be the Celebration of Life event, which features cancer survivors completing laps at the Calhoun Middle-High School athletic field.
As dusk falls, there will be a lighting of hundreds of luminaries in memory of loved ones and friends who have had cancer.
"You do not have to be a participant to help," says Rich Welch. Luminaries can be established for a suggested donation of $5.
The relay will start at 7 p.m.
Family members or friends can participate in the lighting ceremony, if they desire.
Forms can be obtained from Relay for Life team members.
