The media eye is on Huntington WV, following Sunday morning's bloody murders.
A Huntington police detective says there is a strong theory in the city's quadruple murder that the shootings have a Detroit connection.
Captain Steve Hall says nine people were detained Monday to see what they knew about the shooting deaths of four teens following a prom party.
No arrests have been made.
Captain Hall says it is possible those from Detroit wanted one of the victims dead when they came to the Charleston Ave. home early Sunday morning.
Hall says the other three victims may have been shot and killed to keep them from identifying the shooter.
Huntington gets more crack cocaine from Detroit than any other place.
Hall says of the nine people detained for questioning Monday, five had a Detroit connection.
He says three people from Detroit were arrested in a U.S. Route 60 motel.
Hall says, "Our town should take this personally."
A young girl living next to the crime scene says she heard one of the victims, believed to be Megan Poston, plead for her life.
There are a number of agencies investigating including the Huntington Violent Crimes Task Force, Huntington police, FBI, State Police and the Cabell County Sheriff's Department.
