| Hubert L. Mace, 79, of Arnoldsburg, passed away May 19, 2005 at his home following a long illness.
Born in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late Harley and Lillie Bailey Mace. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII having served as a truck driver in the 756 Ordinance Company of the 65th Army Division. He was retired from the E.F. Hauserman Company.
Surviving are two sons, Danny Mace of Talmadge, Ohio and Duane Mace of Mt. Zion; a daughter, Lorrie Mace of Arnoldsburg; two sisters, Marge Digman of Spencer and Fern Kelley of Vienna; 2 half sisters, Janet Sweeney of Sheffield Lake, Ohio and Patricia Selopek of Medina, Ohio; a half brother, Troy Gene Mace of Spokane, Washington; and 9 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Mace in 2000.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 22 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Rick Swearingen will officiate. Interment will be in the Mace Cemetery, Arnoldsburg.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
