| Cam Simons, 97, of Ravenswood, formerly of Bentree, W.Va., died May 14, 2005, at Ravenswood Village Center.
He was born June 28, 1907, in Calhoun County, a son of the late Fred and Edith Cottrell Simons. He was employed and retired from Union Carbide Metal Plant in Alloy, W.Va.
He is survived by a daughter, Delores Dorsey and her husband, Charles "Bud," of Ravenswood; a granddaughter, Debbie Watkins and her husband, Jeff, of Ravenswood; and great-grandsons, Jordan and Jonathan Watkins of Ravenswood.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Laura Surface Simons; four sisters; and five brothers.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Darrell Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Clover Cemetery, Spencer. Friends may visit the family 5-8 p.m. Monday at Roush Funeral Home
