Gov. Joe Manchin awarded Sir Knight and Lady awards to Calhoun Golden Horseshoe recipients this week in Charleston.
This year the winners were Drew Metheney and Elizabeth Duskey.
The awarding of a golden horseshoe pin is awarded to students in recognition of their crossing the mountains of learning and knowledge on the road to becoming good West Virginia citizens.
Eighth graders across the state of WV participate annually in the spring event. |
