An Annamoriah woman remains in serious condition in Charleston General Hospital after suffering traumatic injuries in a single-vehicle wreck at Annamoriah on April 23rd.
A hospital spokesperson said Melissa "Missy" Whipkey is still "serious."
Sources said she has remained on a ventilator since the accident, suffering from multiple injuries and fractures.
The injured woman was traveling west on Rt. 5 when her vehicle appeared to lose control, skidding down the highway, crossing a ditch and traveling through a meadow, then crashing into a tree.
She was life-flighted by HealthNet to Charleston.
