Sadie Wagoner, 91, of Parkersburg, formerly of Leatherbark, W.Va., died April 29, 2005, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Parkersburg.
She was born Feb. 23, 1914, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Arthelia Kerby Roach. She was a homemaker and formerly attended the Leatherbark Community Church.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and David Whited of Parkersburg; three grandsons, Lonzo, Norman and Scott Whited; three great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorcie Wagoner in 1981; three sisters, Susie Starcher, Hattie Whiting and Myrtle McCauley; and two brothers, Denver and Denzil Roach.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Husk Cemetery near Arnoldsburg, W.Va. Visiting hours are form 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
