Funeral services for Wirt County murder victim Russell Ray Eastham, 21, of Palestine, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the Matheney-Pomroy Funeral Home in Elizabeth.
Services for Sylvia Fittro, his fiancée, who was also shot to death, are being conducted in Clarksburg.
Eastham and Fittro were killed in their home on April 1.
Eastham was born in Wood County, the son of Ramona and Joseph Carpenter Sr. of Palestine and Kenneth Eastham of Middlebourne. He was employed as a rig hand with Sam Jack Drilling of Elkview.
Surviving, along with his parents, are a daughter, 10-month-old Paige Fittro; brothers and sisters, Kristie Kay West of Ripley, Melissa Gail Eastham of Morgantown, Nicholas Perry Eastham and Kayla Mae Eastham of Elizabeth and Joseph Carpenter Jr. of Spencer; maternal grandmother, Elsie Flinn of Elizabeth; paternal grandmother, Geneva White of Moundsville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Peter K. Eastham; maternal grandfather, Clarence A. Flinn; and uncle, Sherman Eastham.
Visitation is one hour prior to services.
