Hayward Earl Stafford - 80 of Barrington, New Hampshire,
died March 25, 2005 at the Portsmouth regional Hospital after a period of failing health.
Earl was born June 8, 1924 in Richwood, West Virginia the son of Oakley
and Minnie (Gibson) Stafford. He worked as a supervisor for the John
Manville Company then became a lumber manager for Rickles in New Jersey
until his retirement in 1989. While living in New Jersey, he and his wife
were members of Laurel Springs Church and then members of the Berlin Baptist Church.
Earl and his family moved to Barrington in 1992. He enjoyed wood working,
hooking rugs, fishing and his cat, Henry. He got the most out of life when
family and friends would come over and visit.
Family members include his wife Zelda A. (Holpp) Stafford, two daughters;
Beverly Haas and her husband Warren of Barrington and Sharon Becher of
Berlin, New Jersey, two granddaughters; Lisa Becher of Berlin, New Jersey
and Jennifer Pearson of Chicago, Ill and nieces, nephews and
sisters-in-laws. He was predeceased by his sister Edith Burrows from Akron,
Ohio and by his son-in-law Armin Becher.
Family and friends are invited to an open house reception on April 2nd
starting at 10:00 a.m. at Earl's house, 466 Route 202 in Barrington. Those
who wish may make memorial contributions in Earl's name to the American
