| Robert E. Hasley, Sr., 59, of Parkersburg, formerly of Grantsville, died May 21, 2001 at
his residence. He was born in Marietta, Ohio and was a welder for Dravco Corp. and a
member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters, Local 168. He was a member of the First
Baptist Church of Grantsville.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Smith Hasley; son, Robert Hasley, Jr. of Tyler, Texas;
daughters, Jennifer Bryan of Marietta and Kristina Louise Smather of Murray City,
Ohio; mother, Pauline Roe Hasley; step-son, James Gainer, II of Elkview;
step-daughter, Shellie Jean Gainer of Big Sur, California; half-sister, Nancy Lauderman
of Marietta; sister, Susie Belleville of Marietta; his mother and father-in-law, Edith and
Herb Smith of Grantsville; six grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (May 24) at the First Baptist Church in
Grantsville with the Rev. Robert Nicholas and the Rev. Allen Smith officiating.
Visitation one hour prior to service. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home on Parkersburg in
charge.
