William Denver Conrad 96, of Orma, West Virginia, died Thursday, March 3, 2005 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville.
He was born September 13, 1908 at Orma, the son of the late William F. and Ida Fleming Conrad. He was a WWII veteran having served 4 years. He was retired from the WV Department of Highways, was a member of the Linden Masonic Lodge and a member of the Minnora IOOF for many years.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Pearl Norman Conrad; sons, Paul and his wife Kathy of Parkersburg, Donnie and his wife Lynda of Port Deposit, MD, Robert (Butch) and his wife Susan of Orma, and James and his wife Melissa of Spencer; one daughter, Betty Somerville and her husband Larry of Parkersburg; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was a granddaughter, Nikki Conrad; 1 brother and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Rick Delebeke will officiate. Interment will be in the Orma Cemetery.
