SPENCER WOMAN'S CONDITION IMPROVES FOLLOWING SATURDAY COLLISION

(03/03/2005)
The condition of a Spencer woman has slightly improved, now listed in serious condition at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Thirty-six-year-old Mary Wilson had been listed in critical condition since a two-vehicle collision killed the driver of her car Saturday.

Thomas Waggoner, 23, died in the crash.

Wilson was life-flighted from Arnoldsburg along with Greg Springston, 25, also of Spencer.

Springston was the driver of a pick-up truck involved in the collision. His condition has been described as fair.

The victims had to be extracted from the tangled wreckage, described as among the worst vehicle wrecks on county highways in recent years.

State Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
