| Donald C. Blake, 40, of Glenville, West Virginia, passed away February 19, 2005 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg following a long illness.
Born in Calhoun County, September 9, 1964, he was a son of the late Lennie and Violet Blake. He was employed at U-Pak of Glenville.
Surviving are a daughter, Joella Broome; 2 sisters, Madeline Starkey of Grantsville and Patricia Cunningham of Harrisville; 3 brothers, David Blake of Pine Creek Community, Richard Blake of Grantsville and Michael Blake of Spencer; a friend Jamie Gerwig of Grantsville; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Blake and his companion, Gayle Broome.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Alfred Hickman will officiate. Interment will be in the Meadow Lane Cemetery at Glenville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday.
