Hannah Conley, Josh Hanshaw, Andrea Hardway, David Rogers and Erica Wriston (pictured above) represented Calhoun High School at the annual Know Your State Government Day in Charleston. The students toured the capitol and cultural center and met government representatives.
Governor Joe Manchin, the Speaker of the House and the Senate President addressed the
group. Governor Manchin had a question and answer period for the students.
Andrea, Hannah and Erica (pictured left) spent about 15 minutes trapped in an elevator while at the capitol. They made the best of the situation taking pictures and talking to people on the outside.
