Calhoun's new 911 Emergency Center at Mt. Zion is moving along with lots of committed volunteer help from the community, including Doug Stull (R) and Tom Fox (L) who are working to get lines and pipes under the roadway.
"After the building shell was up, there has been a lot of completion work done inside," said Fox, who is on the 911 Advisory Board.
In recent weeks volunteers have been putting services to the building.
Fox said the center still needs additional money to put in operation, not the least being funds for a radio tower. |
