Jeff Facemire, owner-operator of Grantsville's Foodland grocery store, says the store will be re-opening their rest rooms to the public and improving them.
He apologized for any inconvenience the issue has caused the public.
After many years, the store closed their rest rooms after a few customers violated the privilege, desecrating them in a matter that created health risks to other users and store employees. Store employees were asked to clean them, under difficult conditions.
Facemire said "Our customers are really important to us. We value every customer," acknowledging that the rest room problems have been created by a hand-full of users against the majority who take the privilege seriously.
Facemire said that the closure of the rest rooms might hurt seniors who shop the store. "We just don't want to go against any of our customers," he said.
"We work hard at providing the community with a good grocery store, and appreciate our loyal customers and are always trying to attract new ones," he said.
