| Calhoun High School senior Cynthia Wildfire has been notified that she has met all the requirements to advance to the "finalist standing" in the competition for National Merit Scholarships to be offered in 2005.
Wildfire, the daughter of Tom Wildfire of Arnoldsburg and Mary Wildfire of Morgantown, was one of the 16,200 Semifinalists named last September.
The National Merit Scholarship Program will be making final announcements in April, May and July.
