Morgan Grahame, a theatre major at Davis and Elkins College in Elkins is
featured in an evening of theatre, music, dance and more on February 18 and 19
in the college's studio theatre.
Grahame will perform selections from William Shakespeare's " The Merchant of
Venice". Tennessee Williams "A Battle of Angels', as well as works by Georg
Buchner, Moliere, Edgar Allen Poe and others.
All graduating seniors in the D&E theatre department must present either a
"Senior Showcase" performance or direct a one act play. In addition to
performing in their "Senior Showcase" the student is also responsible for
casting their supporting players as well as their set and costume designers,
lighting director and stage crew.
Both evening's performances will begin at 8 p.m.. The public is invited to
attend. Admission is free, but donations to benefit the Randolph County
Animal Shelter are welcomed.
Grahame, a 2001 graduate of Calhoun High School is the daughter of Neil and
Susan Grahame of Minnora. She is married to Robert Psurny, a professor in
the music department at Davis and Elkins.
