Calhoun resident Teddy Moss has been sentenced to the West Virginia State
Penitentiary for sexual assault in the third degree for not less than one year
nor more than five. The sentence was imposed during the recent session of
Circuit Court.
Moss has also been sentenced to one year to Central Regional Jail for
obstructing an officer, with credit for time already served. The sentences are
to run consecutive to each other, plus a fine of $10,000 and costs for the
offense of sexual abuse in the third degree was levied.
The case against George Duskey, 23, of BIg Bend, who is charged with
malicious assault against Harley Wilson, will continue with a status
conference on September 4 and a criminal trial on September 6.
The case stems from an incident early on New Years Day at the Hilltop Inn
on Nighcut Hill on Route 5 west of Grantsville. Police reports say witnesses
saw Duskey strike Wilson with his fists, kicking him in the head while he was
prone on the parking lot.
