Glenville State College will be offering four sessions to
help students and families fill out the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA) electronically for the 2005-06 school year.
The sessions will be held in computer lab of Robert F. Kidd Library at the
following times:
Wednesday, February 2 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, February 3 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday, February 8 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, February 13 2:00 p.m.
The FAFSA form must be completed before March 1 in order to meet several
important deadlines for the next school year. All students are encouraged to
complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov as
there are no longer any paper renewal applications.
To make the application as streamlined as possible, students should sign up
for a Department of Education PIN number at www.pin.ed.gov
and bring it to the session.
If the student is required to
report their parent's information on the form, their parent's PIN number
will be needed as well. The FAFSA can still be processed without a PIN
number, but the processing takes longer.
Income information from the 2004 calendar year will also be needed to
complete the FAFSA. If completed 2004 tax returns are not yet available,
estimated information can be provided. The correct information can be
submitted at a later time.
