Olena Stump Remmy, 94, of Belpre, Ohio died January 26, 2005, at the home of her caregiver, Janet Moss, in Washington, WV.
She was born July 3, 1910, in Calhoun County, WV, a daughter of the late Dill and Myrtle Robinson Stump.
Olena retired from FMC after 46 years and was a member of the Porterfield Baptist Church, where she enjoyed helping with the visitation ministry.
Olena is survived by three nephews, Forrest "Gene" Frazier and Fred Remmy, both of Arizona and Ralph Frazier of California.
In addition to her parents, Olena was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Waldo Remmy and her only sister, Ocie Frazier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with the Rev. Mark Eaton officiating. Burial will be at Rockland Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
