LOGAN WOMAN FOUND IN TRUNK - Three Logan County men are in custody after State Police found a woman's body in the trunk of a burned car in Coal Branch Hollow.
Jimmy George of Logan, Matthew White of Huntington and Carl Goff of Man face murder charges in the death of 28-year-old Wendy Baisden.
Baisden had been reported missing last Wednesday.
It was unclear whether the woman had been shot. Police say they're still looking for a motive.
PARKERSBURG DRIVE-BY SHOOTING - Twenty-year-old Quintin Webb and 18-year-old Timothy Waldron were arrested over the weekend in connection with two separate shootings at the same home.
"Drugs were not involved. It was just a silly thing amongst a couple of juvenile kids that got blown out of proportion," says Det. Greg Nangle with the Parkersburg Police Department.
Both Webb and Waldron are charged with wanton endangerment and are being held at the North Central Regional Jail on $100,000 bond each.
HARDEE'S WORKERS MURDERED IN RESTAURANT - Police have identified two Hardee's restaurant workers who were killed while on the job in Harrison County. They were found inside the eating establishment.
Twenty-four-year-old Heather Jean Conner of Bridgeport and 46-year-old Michael Dennis Mueller of Clarksburg were found inside a Hardee's on US Route 19.
Investigators believe the slayings occurred when the store was open.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Department said they are waiting the results of autopsies by the State Medical Examiner in South Charleston.
VIRGINIA MAN HOLDS UP KANAWHA BANK - A Virginia man is accused of robbing a Kanawha Mall bank branch.
Charleston police officers arrested Clifton T. Pickens, 19, of Portsmouth on Monday, after chasing him by car and on foot in Marmet.
Pickens walked into the bank, demanded money and left in a stolen burgundy Mercedes-Benz from Virginia.
Police would not say whether the man was armed and did not disclose the amount of money taken, but a teller said she thought he was armed.
BECKLEY MAN SHOT IN CHARLESTON - Charleston police are investigating the shooting of a Beckley man at a downtown housing complex.
Chris Preston, 26, was walking through Washington Manor about 1:45 a.m. when someone opened fire on him, striking him in the stomach.
Preston was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center's General Hospital for evaluation.
