Fourteen Calhoun High School students were inducted into Mu Alpha Theta
at Calhoun Middle/High School Thursday evening. Sponsor Pamela Bartlett
and Principal Greg Cartwright welcomed students, parents and guests to the
academic ceremony.
Participating in the ceremony, Kristi Cain, President; Betsy Harris, Vice
President; Leah Fiedorczyk, Secretary; Justin Harthshorn, Treasurer and
Lora Davis, Historian.
The officers spoke about the purpose, history, growth, power and future of
Mu Alpha Theta.
The new inductees include David R. Albaugh, Shaina Cain, Tiffany Conley,
Evan Cunningham, Morgan Grahame, Chelsie Hupp, Melissa Lynch, Misty
Perkins, Kelley Sampson, Barbara Shock, Erin Smith, Dustin Wagoner and
Shane Yeager.
The current members include Christeallia Amorosi, Melanie Davis, Kevin
Cunningham, Amanda Frederick, Betsy Harris, Darris Hupp, Tiffany Jones,
Megan McKinstry, Monica Offutt, Miranda Richards, Candace Stalnaker,
Heather Walker, Derek Westfall, Ashlea Bush, Kristi Cain, Lora Davis, Leah
Fiedorczyk, Justin Harthshorn, Tiffani Johnson, Darlene Lamont, Sonja
McKown, Crystal Richards, Jessica Sampson, Marie Sorokin, Jordan Welch
and Patrick Wildfire.
The members joined the National Honor Society for an informal reception
following the ceremony.
