The bad guys have struck twice at a Smithville beer parlor.
A safe with money was taken from the Rebel Saloon over the weekend, where culprits broke and entered the business after closing.
Owner Earl Bennett said the door was pried open when he arrived for work.
The establishment has video lottery machines, and the 150 pound safe likely contained money related to the machines.
The saloon was hit by an armed robber with a ski mask in early December. That subject is yet to be caught.
The Ritchie County Sheriff's Department is investigating the recent incident. |
