| Buckshot Butcher, Clay's almost famous Chief of Police and the town's only police officer, has officially been declared off-limits by the Clay County Commission.
Butcher, who serves in the unpaid capacity, has frequently ridden with the Clay County Sheriff's Department, assisting them with official police business, arrests or raids.
The commission has issued an order that Butcher can no longer accompany their officers in a county cruiser, since Butcher has filed an insurance claim against the county after he was injured on county property.
Butcher, who has quit the position or been fired on more than one occasion, re-invents himself as the town's source of law enforcement. |
