| Genevieve L. Ferrell, 83, of Spencer, WV, died Monday, January 10, 2005, in the Miletree Center, Spencer.
She was born March 31, 1921, in Spencer, a daughter of the late Romie F. and Hattie C. Harris Ferrell. She was a caregiver for the elderly and a Christian.
Survivors include three sisters, Beulah M. Smith of Spencer, Ina G. Post of St. Clairsville, OH, and Betty L. Thompson of Liverpool, NY; one brother, Romie F. Ferrell of Aiken, SC; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Golda M. Westfall; brothers, Royce L. Ferrell and four infants.
A private graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 12, at 2:30 p.m. at the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer, with Ivan Westfall officiating.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
