The Calhoun Middle School girls team remained winless, dropping to 0-8, but
did have some positives to take from the game.
Gilmer Middle School beat Calhoun 60-16 but the 16 points were a team high
for the season. The previous high had been 13 against Walton.
Emily Brady led Calhoun with six on a pair of three-point goals. Kayla
Roberts added four while Danielle Little, Tracy King and Kristin Ballengee
had two each.
Catherine Butcher led Gilmer with 22 while Amber Shackleford had 16 and
Brooke Turner 11.
In the B game Gilmer took a 39-2 verdict with Rae-Ann Lowther leading they
way with 15.
Amara Yoak scored Calhoun's loan points as the B team drops to
0-8.
