A 1989 Geo Tracker that was discovered wrecked along Rt. 16 near Chloe was reported stolen by the owner.
The Upper West Fork VFD and Calhoun EMS responded to the scene shortly after midnight today, discovering the driver absent.
The owner of the vehicle, April Arbogast, reported the vehicle stolen from her residence at Chloe.
Chief Deputy Ron Bandy is investigating.
The night before a pick-up truck was involved in a roll-over at Minnora, the driver also leaving the scene.
The owner of the vehicle was reportedly Jeff Dobbins of Meadow Run, who reported his vehicle stolen.
Cpl. Doug Starcher is investigating that case.
Police are investigating other stolen vehicles.
At least one other accident occurred during rainy and foggy conditions this week. Police investigated a wreck on Pleasant Hill, where the driver was arrested for DUI and taken to Central Regional Jail.
