A Calhoun Grand Jury indicted five individuals yesterday.
An indictment does not mean that the individual is guilty of the crime for which they are charged, but there is enough evidence to indicate that a crime has been committed.
- Christopher Cox, 20, murder one count, first degree robbery one count and grand larceny, one count.
- Adam Parsons, 24, Grantsville, child abuse resulting in injury, two counts; child abuse resulting in injury, one count and malicious assault, one count.
- Jimmy W. Keener, 41, Orma, DUI, third offense, one count.
- Michael Lee Smith, 27, Grantsville, manufacturing a controlled substance, one count; possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, one count.
- John D. Hickman, 50, Grantsville, manufacturing a controlled substance, one count; possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, one count. |
