The new Pick Your Path to Health (PYPTH) Program at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center is looking for participants. We are looking for women of all ages who are interested in exploring their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. As mentioned in a previous article, PYPTH is a grant-funded program geared around promoting women's health.
The objective is to gather a diverse group of women who are willing to meet once a month to discuss or review a set topic. At the end of each meeting, the women will meet with a coach who will help them set realistic personal goals. The coach will then contact the participant to offer their assistance and encouragement in meeting those goals.
PYPTH Staff includes Jenny Richards, Program Manager and Coaches Kelley Cain and Cathy Hall (not pictured)
There are numerous rewards for participating in the PYPTH Program. Participants will receive a small stipend for attending each meeting. There will be refreshments, door prizes and free materials related to the topic of the night. However, more importantly, women of all ages and financial status will be able to come together and talk about what's most important-them.
Meetings will be held at a central location with transportation available through the Little Kanawha Bus Company. Child care services will be available. For more information or to receive a registration form please contact Jenny Richards at 354-6144 (Monday/ Wednesday) or 354-6851 (Tuesday/Thursday). |
