The Calhoun County Wrestling team came out #1 in the Roane County Duals over the Christmas
holidays.
Calhoun captured first place in the dual meet by defeating Independence High School,
Magnolia High School, St. Marys, Wyoming East, and host Roane County.
Placing first in the duals were Eddie Burrows, Justin Ramsey, Jaron Sampson, Andrew Cummings,
Caleb Hart, Justin Price, Paul Goodrich, and Zac Yeager.
Finishing 2nd, Seth Jarvis, Dustyn Nichols, and Justin Whipkey.
Also competing were Jeff Goodrich (3-2) and Michael Roberts (2-3).
Calhoun will be participating in a very tough AAA-dominated tournament at Nitro on January 7th and 8th. |
