| Guy C. Parsons, 75, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at his home, after an extended illness.
He was born March 28, 1929, at Newton, a son of the late John Haymond and Bessie B. Canterbury Parsons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Parsons; a step son, Ronald Webb.
Mr. Parsons was a retired employee of the Monarch Rubber Co., Spencer and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Amma.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Linda Meadows of Spencer; three stepsons, Robert Webb of Walton, Richard Webb of Amma and Fred Webb of Mansfield, TX; one sister, Mary Shaffer of Clifton Forge, VA; one niece and three nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted Friday, December 31 at 11 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. J. Herbert Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday.
