Melissa Oshoway remains in guarded condition following an auto accident nearly one week ago.
John Oshoway, her dad, said today that doctors told the family Missy's best chance for survival was to be put in a "drug induced coma" because they could not keep the pressure on the brain down to an appropriate level.
Physicians said that once put in this "coma" they can not bring her out of it for seven days.
Prayer chains and prayers continue for her recovery.
Sue and John would like to let everyone know that Melissa received the "Gold Star" yesterday from the hospital mail man. She had received the most mail.
The Oshoway family continues to express their appreciation for the support and concern, especially the prayers for Missy.
