It is difficult to report bad news on Christmas Eve.
But a well-known Calhoun girl and 2004 graduate of Calhoun High School, Melissa Oshoway, daughter of John and Sue Oshoway of Mt. Zion was seriously injured Friday morning in the Pt. Pleasant area in a two car collision.
She was life-flighted from the area to a Huntington trauma center. Sources close to the family said she was ejected from the vehicle and is reportedly suffering from a skull fracture and is on a ventilator.
A status report on her condition is yet to be available.
She was accompanied in the vehicle by Jeremy Lane, who reportedly was not critically injured, but is complaining of neck and back pain.
Oshoway, a Calhoun attorney, and his family and the Lane family are in Huntington. |
