| Ann Gainer Jarvis, 90, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Spencer, West Virginia, died Thursday, December 16, 2004, in the Grandview Hospital, Dayton, after an extended illness.
She was born January 3, 1914 at Tariff, a daughter of the late Everett and Jeanette Looney Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Haeman Gainer and Herbert Jarvis.
She was a former employee of the Spencer Hospital and the Spencer Department Store. Also, she was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church, Spencer.
Survivors include one sister, Jeannette Hildreth of Spencer.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, December 21 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Beth Peters officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service on Tuesday.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dayton, OH.
