| Dry, frigid weather is sweeping through the area with little snowfall predicted except in Preston and Tucker counties, where they are expected to get 12 inches.
It got cold overnight Sunday in Sunny Cal, lows of 5-7 degrees predicted, depending on location. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph making the wind chill well below zero.
Monday will be partly cloudy with the temp reaching 20 degrees, with wind chill slightly above zero.
There will be a warming trend for most of the week, with Monday night's low near 20.
However, the temperatures are predicted to drop toward zero toward Christmas weekend.
