Nannie D. Nettles, 95, of Elmira, West Virginia, died December 12, 2004 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 28, 1909 at Walnut, WV, a daughter of the late Samuel Levi and Minnie Hardway Stalnaker.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and gardening. She was a member of the Gip United Church.
She is survived by three sons, Halman W. Nettles of Elmira, Harry D. Nettles of Gassaway and H. Lehn Nettles and his wife Lois of Nicut; daughters, Wanda Carter and husband Charles of Fairmont, Colene Wolfe of Charleston, Lois Ganim of Charleston, Sharon Spiker and husband Tom of Fairmont; sisters, Venell Vaughn of Elmira and Hazel Digman of Farmington, NM; 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie C. Nettles on September 17, 1977; six brothers and three sisters.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 15 at the Gip United Church. Pastor Mark Gerwig will officiate. Burial will be in the Nettles Family Cemetery, Elmira.
